Here are a collection of photographs taken during the various stages of construction at Devoran.

"Energetic" still with her frames in place.   Notice the ribs extending beyond the gunwale, these will be trimmed before the frames are removed.

Placing the bow ribs in place, is not an easy task, very little room to work, and the acute angle of the rib tests the skills of the shipwright.

Amidships there is more room to work, but bending the ribs into place is hot work as the timbers come red hot straight from the steaming box.

All the ribs are now in place, and for the first time the general shape of the gig can be seen for the first time
